Engine swap day

Postby Justin » Sun Mar 12, 2017 9:39 pm

I'll have some time on my hands over the next couple of weeks and should be able to finish getting my 351w built. I've never swapped an engine before. I can probably figure it out solo, but would appreciate as many sets of knowledgeable hands as feel like hanging out. Best day for me would be April 4/1 so that I can spend 4/2 working to get the EFI done. Could also do the swap 4/2 if that's better. Anyone who wants to come over, learn, drink my beer and eat pizza is also welcome, even if you're purely decorative.

Where: Justin's House
When: Tentatively Saturday, 4/1/17
Why: Because I've got a blueberry wheat, a chocolate stout and a bourbon aged cider on tap, and I challenge you to drink all 10 gallons so that I get to make more.
How: In anything that gets you here, but ideally in something big and loud that will annoy the neighbor I don't like. The rest are awesome and won't care.

Do you need an engine hoist? I have a nice fold-up one if you need it. I'll try and make either 4/1 or 4/2 if I can as I just pulled my 302 and can contribute some extremely limited knowledge.

A huge thank you to digger, tool man, eck, and bronco raider. Would not have gotten this done without some very competent help.
