8th Annual Platte River Meet and Greet

Postby Justin » Wed Oct 11, 2017 6:44 pm

Whether you made the first Platte meet or joined the Colorado Bronco Bretheren yesterday, you're invited to join in CCB's annual celebration of our founding get together. An RSVP isn't mandatory, but is appreciated so that I can make sure we've got enough room at the restaurant. We're currently reserved for 30 for lunch.

Where: Platte River Bar and Grill-5995 South Santa Fe Drive Littleton, CO 80120
When: Saturday, October 14th @ 1230p-Lunch reservations are at 1p.
Why: Because CCB is awesome, and deserves a great birthday party.
How: In your Bronco, of course!

This is traditionally our largest gathering of the year, with good food, good company, and a whole bunch of wicked Early Broncos to drool over. Hope to see all of you there, as it's always a great time.

Katy and I moved up to Brighton last May from Texas. This was our first chance to meet some of the group face to face. In Texas we were involved with the Lonestar Early Bronco Club and went to quite a few of the Texas events. Now with the relocation we need a new group of peers;)
It was nice to meet in person some folks we've only known online (Viperwolf, Roxcrusher). On ClassicBroncos.com i'm known as Wyflyer.

We've got 2 Broncos: a stock 1969 U15 with 2.5" lift, 302 with 3 speed. And a 72 U-14 that's a 4 year EFI restomod project which is about 90% completed.
We drove the 69 across Denver to this Meet & Greet. I learned I need to get rid of some steering slop LOL.
Hope to meet everyone eventually, and thanks for making us feel at home.

Welcome! Bummed I didn't get the chance to meet you. I'm just west of Brighton over in Erie. Hopefully we'll get to meet at the next event. There's a good contingent of us on the north side now.

Definitely a great turn out, maybe one of these I'll actually have my Bronco and not have to hang my head when someone asks which one is yours. :)
