Engine install

Postby Eck » Sun Nov 02, 2014 5:00 pm

I'm finally to the point of needing to get the engine installed and could use a few able bodied people to help! Even if you want to come lend some muscle and learn, all are welcome.

When: Saturday, Nov. 8th - 8am till probably late afternoon

Where: Eck's house in Wheat Ridge. PM me for an address if you can attend.

What: 351W with Explorer front dress and Explorer Fuel Injection.

I will plan to have donuts and coffee for breakfast and pulled pork for lunch.

I appreciate any and all help!

Great-- hope you two can make it. Please let me know later in the week if you have a more definitive idea so I can make sure there is enough food!

I plan on doing my usual...show up and drop off a few parts, eat a doughnut, bark a few orders, then leave before the hard work starts.

What's a man without his routine?! Glad you can stop by-- especially since you have the brain (PCM) of the operation.

So far, it looks like ToolMan, Rox Crusher, EFI Guy long enough to eat a donut are coming Saturday.

Justin- you know if you're able to come yet?

Anyone else interested?

Didn't get as much done as if liked today, but the engine is in. Big thanks to Rox Crusher and TOOLMAN for their help today.

I've got quite a bit of work ahead of me still but have next week off of work. If anyone is still wanting to help me turn some wrenches-- let me know.

Most of what's left is just bolting things on until I get to the wiring. I'm gonna be mostly working on it during daytime hours the rest of the week. Will probably try to complete wiring Saturday. Let me know if any of that is of interest to you. I'm in eastern Wheat Ridge.
