What time does it start or do you need to check in? I will be in Berthoud till about 5 pm.

They run the circle drags at intermission which is usually about 7:30.

The trick is you need to register ahead of time, either via fax (download form from their website) or go early enough before races start.

I think I will register via fax to insure a spot.
