September Breakfast and Pull 'n' Pay run

Postby Justin » Wed Aug 20, 2014 10:11 pm

Where: Rudy's in CO Springs-315 South 31st Street Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Zac claims that BBQ makes fine breakfast food. Really, it's meat cooked with fire, so how could it be bad?
When: 9/20/14 @ 9a.
How: In your Bronco, of course. Or you can bring something less cool and we'll only mock you a little.
Why: Because Early Broncos are the best vehicles ever made, way more cool than those sucktastic Jeeps. So we should all hang out.

This fine dining experience will be followed by a chance to bruise our knuckles and communally swear at the CO Springs U Pull 'n' Pay. There is a dirty rumor going around that they've got a bunch of Explorers and we all know that an unstripped 5.0 is Not Okay. 3745 S. U.S. Highway 85-87, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.

Hope you all can make it!

This one I would love to make (been hearing about Rudy's and these legendary C. springs PNPs long enough.

And I will be there if I happen to fill my elk tag early this season. Otherwise, it looks like the legend will just have to live on....

I'm a definite maybe.

I need some 98 Harnesses real bad, making it out of bed in time to make the drive seems like a helluva challenge though.

Not gonna make it. CU scheduled their game for noon so no chance for me to do C Springs then Boulder by then.

I do need an Explorer MAF and air box. If anyone sees one and would be so kind to grab it, I'll pay you for your efforts. Prefer the six wire MAF.

You're welcome to skip breakfast and meet us at the yard. Or I can loan you a small child for the night and you can wake up at 7.

I just set up an appointment @ Phil Long Ford in the Springs for them to perform a recall on my F250. I told them I would drop it off around 8am when they open. Could someone pick me up at Phil Long & take me to breakfast & back. It would be greatly appreciated. There is no Ford dealership here, this is my first chance to get this taken care of.

Thanks

Same here - I actually have a hockey stick that needs to go from Highlands Ranch to a member in the springs who will be at this breakfast.

(see Zach - I do all I can to increase local attendance at the springs gatherings)

I'm not going to make this one. I love to check out new junkyards but I have my dad in town for my grandfathers 95th birthday. Also my truck is still broken and I can only fit small pile of parts in the back of the 66.
