Denver Pull And Pay August 9th

Postby casadejohnson » Thu Aug 07, 2014 8:39 pm

A trip to the Denver junkyard scene is long over due so Kevin and I will be heading down that way Saturday morning ( Aug 9th ). We will be meeting up with NASCAR Mike when they open at 9. Mike needs an explorer front dress for his project and I could use some GT40 heads for the 5.8 roller along with a LARGE Transmission cooler for the power stroke. Eck, if your available, I'm sure we can get your serpentine as well. Garry, I know this is your favorite yard ...you know you can't pass it up ! If we get denied at the Denver yard, we will probably try Aurora . Get in touch with your inner hoarder and buy some more parts! As if the junkyard was not enough enticement, we normally like to wrap up our Denver runs with a stack of Chili Dogs at the Hamburger Stand. Ummmmm, my indigestion is starting already.

They also have Chili Cheese fries and Chili burgers, my understanding is that the entire menu is Kosher and Vegan friendly! cookin Well, maybe not 100% Kosher. Nobody REALLY knows whats in a hot dog or that canned chili.

Looks like I've cleared my morning so I'll see you at the Denver Pull and Pay. I'm also wanting to pull whatever Explorer EFI parts I will need too! Hopefully Garry will come and tell me exactly what he wants for me to pull!!

Kevin and I will come down together. Usually I go to his place in Windsor and then go down 25 but nothing is carved in stone. We could reverse it and go down 85 just as easy. What were you thinking? We could come up with a spare seat if you want to ride down with us.

Sounds good, we will be in either my Giant red F350 or Kevin's Giant white F250. Diesel Fumes and Chili dogs......That's the way we roll!
