Short Notice: COS Breakfast this weekend? 8 March '14

Postby akaFrankCastle » Tue Mar 04, 2014 11:36 pm

I know. Not very much notice. Any Colorado Springs or close by folks interested in grabbing breakfast this Saturday?

If so, suggestions for a place? Not really interested in Western Omelet as last time tore me up.

Maybe Rudy's? Or some place in Manitou Springs? Would love to get the tree huggers and pot heads all riled up over the smelly old trucks making all the racket.

Wish I could, plugging away on my basement and the latest project.

It's a ways off, but one thing I've been thinking about is starting up a bronco tailgating section at AFA football games. It doesn't get much better than Early Broncos and college football.

Tailgating sounds fun. I can't vouch for your choice of team though. Maybe if Mizzou gets added to their schedule. ;)

I could go for a Rudy's breakfast burrito! Let me know what time. I won't be in my bronco, currently no drive train.

Trailer it. I'll throw 33x2 on the trailer and we can have a Broncos with no drivetrain day.

Heck, maybe I'll bring the HoverBronco. I'd go, but sleep and I haven't been well acquainted this week.

I should be able to make Rudy's as long as the boss man doesn't tell me on Friday as I clock out that we're working, I doubt he will so I'm up for a breakfast burrito

Sounds like fun as long as it is not 7am. BTW, how's Rudy's burritos?
The MH Fiero Club did do an impromptu meeting at GOG and went for a drive. I think a short hike would be fun as well.

Have any of you tried Sheldon's Luncheonette on N. Nevada and Mountain View? It's a mom and pop diner open for breakfast and lunch and has lots of room for parking. Ample servings for breakfast and lunch. Just a suggestion.

Rudy's is good. I go there for breakfast as often as the family lets me. I've heard Sheldon's is pretty good too.

Depending on what time, I would be good with going to grab a bite at Rudy's.

How's about 8:30-9:00 at Rudy's?

After that, we'll start hitting some more hole in the wall type places.

We had others from the MH Fiero club park together at Freddy's on Powers and Stetson Hills one weekend and people gathered to look at them. Yes, I did bring the Bronco since I needed to give her some exercise. Freddys is great for ice cream and other All American favorites, hamburgers and hotdogs. Just be aware that the hamburgers might be too thin for some, yes, paper thin. Hope to meet other CCB people around.
