Yes it is. It c an be challenging though, that's for sure.

My hunting/fishing partners (both of them) have their birthdays the 3 week of March so we always go somewhere to fish for the weekend. We are still working out details. Deckers/Cheesman is a little closer to home than our normal trip but seems to be what we can make happen this year. Nobody is able to take off work.

We are still working out details. Might head to the dream stream between eleven mile and spinney instead.....

I'm really hoping to have my Bronco up and running by Friday. If it's running, I'm hoping to do this still!

Well I got to tow Drew's little pony home last night. You see - I put a new serp belt on her (last time Drew drove her - the belt broke, he drove it home on battery and parked it - did not replace the belt) and Dan took her for a spin. Noticed the fuel gauge was reading below "E" (just like his mother, Drew never fills it before it really needs it) so he pulls into the station to ad a splash. Just as he turns into the drive she runs dry (he got about 1/3 of a mile from the house).

He calls me, I push him to the pump only to discover that the brand new locking gas cap is in fact - installed. and the only key on the ring is to the ignition.

A quick phone call to the good Marine in Ft. Lee VA, and we confirm what we already knew. not one - but BOTH KEYS to that cap are on his key ring in his pocket. bangtard

So I hooked the strap up and towed it home. Drew is supposed to drop the key in the mail today. If it gets here by Saturdays mail - we are in. If not - I have already arranged for a navigators seat in one BSD.

Or I might just have to drill out the lock on the brand new locking gas cap I just gave him....

ugh!

If you have a spare external fuel pump sitting around you could open the return line and pump fuel in.

How do you break a serp belt?

No - not going to use another pump.

And don't ask me, I was not with him when it broke. I can tell you this, it was shredded for sure.

Since we haven't picked which Gulch to run let's meet at the Cedar Mountain trail head just before 9am. Information and GPS/map location can be found here: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=208

Rox, it looks like 1.5 hrs for us to drive from Sedalia to the above point so I'll see you NLT 730 am at the gas station by the restaurant were we've done bfast.

So I am trying to figure out where this is. Unfortunately my computer crashed and I am only able to access on my iPad or iPhone. Any way you can give me the GPS coordinates or some specific directions? Also-- who else is going? Anyone coming from Denver? I would like to be able to carpool if possible given my current situation of having a Bronco that is so newly running.

Gotcha, I'll get to a map later this evening and look for a spot to meet that intersects our two paths.

Took the half cab for a test run only made it 6 miles before noticing that the front drive shaft is hitting the oil pan. I have a Dana 30 in there now. If I put a Dana 44 under it will that solve my problem? Or do I have to change the oil pan out for a stock oil pan?

Not going to make this trip :-(

If anything the D44 would be bigger and need more clearance.

Doubtful I will make it.

Been fighting a set of custom plug wires all afternoon.

Not much patience left.
