June Breakfast and Swap Meet

Postby Justin » Thu Apr 30, 2015 8:17 pm

Thought I'd get this posted up early so folks can plan. Now is the change to unload the junk in your garage so that you can buy someone else's junk! June's breakfast will happen at an old haunt, mostly because they're central and have a great parking lot. Bring out any spare (Bronco) stuff you're looking to unload, and bring your wallet as there are great deals to be found. As with previous years, we'll also be collecting scrap to help fund club expenses, Project 33x2, and other club stuff, so if you've got a pile of rusty metal we'll give it a good home.

Where: Golden Corral-3677 S Santa Fe Dr, Sheridan, CO 80110
When: 6/20/15 @ 0900
Why: Because everyone needs more Bronco stuff!
How: In you're Bronco, of course. Unless you're pulling a gigantic trailer full of parts-they're not so good for that.

Hope to see all of you there. It's always a good time!

I've got a ton of scrap copper wiring here that I would like to donate if they will take it with insulation on it.

This is my wife's birthday so I will not be attending but, as usual, I have a decent amount of metal to donate if anyone can get it there? Nothing huge but some decent weight in the tune of 1 ton 2wd dually front rotors and some other dense metal stuff. Guessing about 3-400 pounds worth.

I won't be making this one, I got my official marching orders for Vietnam trip #2.

If at all possible, I have a lot of scrap metal I would like to drop off to whoever can take it to the breakfast. Let me know if you have room and I'll drop it off to you.

I'll be there with a Bronco full of parts. I may have too many to fit, so here is a quick list of stuff I'm bringing. If anyone wants something specific, let me know so I make sure to throw it in.
There will be some misc freebie parts too that just need a good home.

- Exploder 3-core radiator, < 5000 miles
- Wildhorses 3.5VR coils, showing their age, but straight & functional
- Ceramic long tube headers, good condtion, some scrapes from removal.
- Stock rear bench seat, good condition
- stock '69 rear gas tank, no rust. (free to good home)
- 4x Rancho RS5000 14" travel shocks, a little rough looking, but no leaks. (selling cheap!)

What's everyone else bringing?
Cummins R2.8 diesel, ZF5, AtlasII, HP44/BB9, ARBs, coiled / linked suspension, 37" KO2s, full cage, bumpers, etc.

I will be bringing
door handles
window regulators
window tracks
rear tail lights
Instrument gauge cluster
all original gauges
headlight bezels
Headlight rings

will also have the t-shirts

I'm sure I will find more to bring down

Was thinking of bringing the 1/2 cab down but might end up bringing both

If there is any interest I could bring a Ford NP205 and a SBF ZF5 with me for sale/trade. I won't load them (they're heavy) if there is no interest.

I will drop it off with Bronco Dan tonight as I will not be making the swap meet.

Anyone have any interest in a Dana 30 front end and/or small bearing 9 inch rear? Both are 3.50, the rear is tagged as a stock limited slip, but I've never cracked it open. Rear is complete drum-to-drum, front is spindle-to-spindle (no brakes), and could use a new seal.

I know these aren't exactly sought after items, so wasn't planning on lugging them down there unless someone is interested in them.

Well, I've been MIA for a while, work keeps getting in the way. Anyhow, I will be attending this breakfast with my son. He's 17 months old and LOVES trucks, phew.

I obviously have nothing to contribute to swap for an EB, but I do have my old Holley 600cfm. It's rough and needs a rebuild, oh, and it's a Holley. That said its the carb that got me to and from my first breakfast in CS from Westminster. I'll bring it.

I'll look around for any scrap I might have, too.

Didn't get to check out your rig as I had to go to Spencer's baseball game. I arrived at my first Bronco event in the same fashion you did yesterday.

Hope you got it worked out.
