Snow bashing trip time!

Postby crawlercreations » Mon Mar 05, 2018 1:42 pm

I am thinking I am close enough to done that a snow bashing trip is in order. I have more changes coming soon so this needs to be fairly soon otherwise I will be tearing it down again. Maybe not this upcoming weekend the 10th but the following weekend the 17th? I am not ready for highway travel and I do not want to tow it so I am thinking Yankee hill outside central city. If there is not enough snow or something we can go from there over to fall river road and head towards Chinns lake. There is always snow there! The only real hazards are trees on both these options. Nothing crazy. Pretty easy stuff minus the snow.

What works for everyone?? I will contact my uncle and see what he is up for. I am spooled front and rear on 40s, he is locked front and rear on 37s. I know Kirk was interested in getting Willem's bronco out on 33s and lockers. Rob on 35s, maybe? Who else??

I am for sure interested. Locked front and rear on 35's. I have chains that fit 37's too if we need. I'll have to see how far I get but I'm painting the inside of my house that weekend. I should be able to get away for a day. I do know there is not much snow on yankee. There was a group of fullsize guys that went up last weekend.

Anyone in? I will be tearing my Bronco apart, again, soon so this is my last chance at snow bashing. I could probably make next weekend the 24th work if that is better for everyone?

The 24th would work better for me. I have to rebuild the rear brakes on mine as the wheel cylinders are leaking and I don't have time this week/weekend. If not i'll have to skip out as im working all easter weekend.

I’m down but that rear axle seal is leaking again so I need to try to see if I can get that fixed in the next few days. As long as I can get that done, I’m in.

Gonna have to cancel this trip. I don't have the time and I don't feel like freezing since I've been able to enjoy this nice weather.
