March Breakfast

Postby Justin » Wed Mar 11, 2015 3:33 pm

Spring is here! Air out the Broncos and come out to breakfast.

Where: Rudy's in Colorado Springs-315 S 31st St, Colorado Springs, CO
When: 3/21/15 @ 0900
How: In your Bronco, of course.
Why: Because it'll be a chance for our schizophrenic weather to drop 4 feet of snow, allowing a combined breakfast/snow run through downtown Colorado Springs.

Hope you can make it!

Good. Someone has to fill the 4BT powered Bronco gap since Kinder apparently has better plans.

Where's your picture in a CCB t-shirt? Don't tell me you left it behind to pack your speedo.

Now don't you worry, I had room for both my speedo and 2 CCB shirts! I have photo's with me wearing both in compromising positions. spank

I brought my camera but ran off and left the charger at home. the little woman is bringing it to me so in the mean time I have to use my phone camera. I'll post some pix in the "Where's CCB Been" area.

I'm pretty darn sure that I'll be heading to the breakfast. It depends on the couple of maintenance items I'm working on now. That said, I'm heading from NW Denver, so I'll be passing through Castle Rock. I'd be happy to pick up the coil as I pass through. By the way, since this is my first one, is it 9am sharp? How long does everyone hang out?

It's 9ish. Hangout time depends on the weather, but usually at least a couple of hours.

Bring your tools! COS Upull has six 5.0 Exploders in the yard. Four are complete motors. One is a short block. One has had the motor removed but the 4R70W remains.

Well, I figure I'll leave my house about 7:30 ish (I'm in between downtown Denver and Boulder off 36 for reference), so let's say 8-8:15 ish? I assume traffic will be light. I25 and Castle Pines is good. According to the zoom function on Google maps, there is a Conoco station that look easy enough to get to for me on the west side of 25. But if there's a better spot, I'm open to suggestions.

Sure....I'll pull in there next to the open lot in the Bronco (goldish with black softop). I'll PM you my phone to let me know when you think you'll be there but I'll plan on around 8AM or so.
