Help! I need somebody! I'll take anybody!

Postby Justin » Wed Jan 29, 2014 11:09 pm

Between work and family needs I'm having a heckuva time getting some space to work on my full width/long arm swap. I live about 15 minutes from the location for the 2/15 CCB Breakfast and am planning to spend the day in the garage starting the swap afterwards. If anyone is able to help get the back broken on this I'd be hugely appreciative, and I'm happy to feed and hydrate and all comers. If you want to just come hang out and watch, you're welcome to do that too! Thanks to anyone who can make it!

Sweet, thanks to all 3 of you! Stubborn, I'd love to meet you and always appreciate help, but totally understand the new baby thing. I'm the proud owner of 2 little kids myself.

If I can, I'll lend another set of hands to take direction. Are you driving your Bronco to the breakfast? If so, I could meet you at your place and hitch a ride since mine is mid heart surgery.

Thanks! My passenger seat may be occupied by my son, but we can touch base when it gets a little closer. If he doesn't go you're welcome to ride with me.

Thanks, both of you! Rob, I'd be suggesting snow wheeling this weekend if my wife wasn't out of town.

Sweet! I _think_ I've got all the tools well need, but anything you think might be handy would be welcome. What I'd love most if we get enough done is your welding superpowers.

Just thought of a tool need: something powerful enough to break loose the pinion nut on the Dana 44.

1/2" drive 1000 ft. lbs impact should do it. I'll bring mine if you have air.

I figured he'd be too busy eating all my food. We'll make him his own crock pot of chili.

Hi guys, quick bump for this. I'll be PMing all who have replied with interest with my address for tomorrow. Please know you're all welcome, even if you just want to come hang out, eat food and talk Broncos. It's looking like lunch will probably be pizza (running out of time to cook enough to feed Willem). Eric, I'm hoping to swap at least the front gears, but the rears might happen too. There isn't a hard and fast task list-it'll likely depend on what skills show up when.

If anyone coming tomorrow has any metal cutting hole saws they wouldn't mind letting me use, I'd appreciate it. Need to make a number of small holes in my new dash.

Probably not a bad idea. I've got most of the basics, but don't have some of the gear setup specific ones. CC is bringing some as well, so we should have it covered between you. Thank you!
