The pre-CCB Colorado Springs Meet and Greet

Postby akaFrankCastle » Mon Dec 06, 2010 9:11 pm

"Back in the day", otherwise known as a few weeks before CCB came about, we had a little meet and greet in COS. I originally envisioned a few guys from the Springs area, and maybe one or two guys from Denver showing up. Much to my surprise, we had a Fort Collins resident and a truck with pilot from Canon City show up. I had no idea CCB would be starting up shortly after, but seeing the turn out we had from a random thread on CB.com and a few fliers, it's no surprise we're doing as well as we are here on CCB today.

As I spent much of the day on the grill and using a spray gun to apply sunscreen, I didn't get much time to shake hands and get names. If anyone who was there remembers some of the unknowns (to me), please chime in.

I never got to talk to the guys in the Silver Bronco. Don't even know how they found out about the meeting.

I made the wife a MST3K ring tone for her phone the other night. And now, as I'm sitting here uploading pics I can't help but be singing the theme song and substituting usernames for the names in the song.

I know there were some guys who showed up but had to depart early. I didn't get pics of them. The grill needed tending to.

Corey, I don't know how I missed you! That wasn't a snub, brother!

Everyone's rigs were shined up and looking good - looks more like a Car Show! Amazing pictures - thanks for posting them up! Let's do a sequel in 2011.

Don't feel bad. I was so ashamed of my Bronco in comparison with everyone else's I didn't take a single solo picture of it.

The Colorado Springs guys have got a lot of great pictures - all of them are Calendar worthy. Submit any pics you would like to see in the 2011 Calendar! Thanks guys!

It'll be a couple months before mine is moving under it's own power, but maybe we can do a M&G again!
