I'm not sure you can save them all, but keep trying.

There is very little worth saving on this bad boy. 23k original miles and it looks as if every foot of them was from rolling, end over end, down a hillside. It's been sitting in a field for 10 years after being driven onto the property where I picked it up.

Plans are to remove everything made of sheet metal above the frame and scrap it, rebuild everything that is left, find another body, and enjoy. Might do a 5.8l/ZF/205 combo with hydroboost, 78-79 power steering, HP D44 front, and a rear disk install.

I have a line on a rust free, original paint hovercraft in Oklahoma for an OBO price.

I'd say that's not just another hole in your head, but also in your wallet as well. Being a fan of the old F trucks myself I say go for it. May want to think about a Cummins instead of a 5.8 plus 1 ton axles icon biggin . I thought you were on the lookout for an F250 extended cab to do that to. How is the supply of parts vehicles in KC? After the scrapping frenzy when steel prices were high the availability around here is somewhat diminished. I did see a bumpside at ABC a couple of weeks ago that was fairly unmolested when I was there. Have fun with the project.

This is just a little distraction. And the price was way to good to pass up.

The old school super duty is still on my mind. But first I need space to create it.

Trucks out here are rusty piles of crap.
