The fine folks at Marti Auto Works, generally, don't know their asses from a hole in the ground.
Original Ford Bronco Explorer Sport advert here.
http://classicbroncos.com/forums/attach ... 1223431370Look familiar?
The problem with Marti is they are dependent upon their staff to read the original Ford invoices and build sheets and translate those codes into reports. So, if I were decrypting Ford documents and X meant Goldenrod in 1973, there would be no need for me to once again look up X for 1972. It should be Goldenrod. But it isn't. Or it is. Same paint, different name, just like you said.
Don't get me wrong. I love the services they provide. It's just that they are often wrong about little details. And rarely about big ones.
My report couldn't tell me when my Bronco sold. And I think Phil's mentioned something about it being the offspring of a Shelby-Stroppe bing drinking week, or something.
And don't think I'm arguing with you. This is spirited discussion about minutia that pretty much everyone else in the world cares not about except me. Or so I think. Why am I still talking?
