Congratulations Clay. December Member of the Month!

Colorado Classic Broncos would like to congratulate Clay Jones (aka Vragor) for his involvement with the club and his stock rig. He is a Colorado native, born in Montrose, but moved to Arizona when his father got tired of ranching in the Colorado snow. He eventually came back to Colorado with his wife and 4 kids (I think one has a name very close to Luke). His kids of course are old enough to have already given him 2 grandchildren (with one more coming soon—Ben maybe). He has been a software programmer for the last 30 years and doesn’t appear to have any interest in retirement. He says “I love what I do” and something about needing to work while his kids keep spending his money...
His favorite movie is the original Star Wars but he couldn’t decide on his favorite quote (“there’s too many”). However, he did say his favorite Jedi was Corran Horn??? It was at this point I knew his knowledge in Star Wars was much more powerful than my own. Apparently Master Vragor has not only seen all the movies (several times) but reads the books too. I’m starting to think that if Clay started giving into his anger he would become...Darth Vragor!!!!!!!!!
Did I mention Clay came up with his screen name 15 years ago when he was a gamer...? There’s probably no connection.

When Clay isn’t flying around in his TIE Fighter fighting the Rebellion, he is driving his originally family owned 1970 Bronco. His Grandfather purchased it new and drove it until he passed away. The Bronco went to his aunt who let it slowly decline. It wasn’t until 10 years later that Clay saved it and brought it back to life. Other than putting in power steering from a later model Bronco, a brake booster and a new block, he has kept it all original and doesn’t have any plans to change that.
His other hobbies include owning planes, a boat, and most recently a motorcycle. He enjoys wood working, crafts, and is currently finalizing the construction of his Candy Apple Red Light Saber (although it keeps fading to pink). May the force be with you....always.
Congratulations Clay for being awarded the Member of the Month for December.

Congratulations Clay - I always appreciate the history of your Bronco. It demonstrates that not everyone has to have a totally tricked out ride to enjoy our hobby. Diversity is one of the many things I like about CCB.

Zilla is right........you did indeed set up the first official run which was really cool and helped us get started.

Don't tell the other guys...................but I still want to sneak away from the Broncos for a week end and go on a bike ride with you. Let's plan it for early this spring.

Congrats again !

Very deserving of the honor. You have been around from the beginning and really rally the Colorado Springs area. Thanks for all the hard work and contributions to the club. smokin

Again, Congrats Clay!! It was good to ride with you on the last run and learn a bit more about you! (even though you snubbed my attempt to get your autograph)
