Trouble logging in/auto log out?

Postby akaFrankCastle » Tue Nov 30, 2010 8:34 pm

Gregg PM'd me on CB.com to let me know he appears to be locked out or can't log in.

Also, is there an auto log out function in place on the site. I spend a lot of time back and forth between the work computer, CB.com, and here. Often I refresh the page to find I've been logged out without action.

I got my butt kicked yesterday trying to log into this site yesterday on my work laptop computer. It worked fine in the morning, then stopped working around noon. I tried resetting my password, logging in, etc. but it would just clear my login info and not load. I downloaded Mozilla FireFox and has been working perfectly. I thought it was an Explorer issue, but my personal laptop is running Explorer and working fine. Sorry he is having these issue - I feel his pain. Try using FireFox and see if that gets him up and running. I know it is not a long term fix, but a good work-around.

I had a similar issue with CB.com for a few days. I would log in and then immediately be redirected back to the login page. Funny thing is, if I logged in, allowed it to kick me back to the log in page, then clicked the "Message Forum" link, it would take me to the forum and I would be logged in.

Ahhh, board sessions. Got it. Just wondering as CB.com always stays logged in and CCB doesn't. No worries. It's not like logging in is a PITA. Well, unless you're Gregg I guess.

Your cookie is getting corrupted. Go into Tools/Internet Options and delete all cookies. That will allow you to login again.

I am just trying to decide whether to leave that "corrupted cookie" comment alone, or if I do not, just how x rated I should take it..... LOL

But you know what? This is a great way to start your morning, it sure beats the hell out of yelling at your crew for showing up late..... again.

I cannot speak for Matt, but I allow a NC-17 Rating :)

I didn't make up the terms, I just use em with Gusto. You should see my family on the way to Vegas crossing the Hoover dam.
