Application of Emoticons

Postby Jesus_man » Mon Jan 16, 2012 9:30 am

Is there a setting somewhere to change how the emoticons are added to a thread. Right now they can be added simply by typing a word. But that doesn't always work.

If I were to say that Jeep's are Worth-less without the dash, it would look like this:
Jeep's are worthless - You see that emoticon doesn't apply.

Often times, fish, drink, slap do apply, but I'd like to say that if you want an emoticon, that you have to put a colon on either end, like :slap: or :fish:. That's just how I have seen it done on other forums, and I like to be able to control when to emoticon and when to not...that is the question :)

If that's possible and everyone is in agreement...
