Re: Rubicon Trail
Just a thought about scheduling. It's currently snowing in Tahoe right now. This is the 3rd September I've been here and the second where we've had rain/snow here around the middle of September. I know there is no perfect schedule for everyone and never a guarantee it won't snow or rain. If we do this in September we need to be prepared for the possibility of snow. I don't think a little snow is going to scare off Colorado Classic Broncos though.
A pic from Donner pass right now

Re: Rubicon Trail
I am open to moving the date, earlier in September would be best - August would be tough as I plan on racing the Vegas to Reno race in mid August in my Bronco and thats a long haul there and back... twice. But who knows. My idea was to give everyone time to prep but I know 90% of you will wait until the last minute anyway :)
I open to whatever but would like to set a date.

Re: Rubicon Trail
For me, I would like it to be before school starts so I can bring my kids on this adventure of a lifetime.
Having said that, school starts so dang early (early August) that might not be to the group's liking ?

Does anyone know if they require permits, fees, etc. to run the trail?

I believe some of the participants will be attending the the Tony’s for tots gift exchange so might be a good time to discuss dates

Re: Rubicon Trail
Jeffco starts 8/18. My chances of making it go way up before then. Would still try after, but being gone for a week would be tough.

Re: Rubicon Trail
Still discussing dates. I know not every date will work for everyone but we will chat a bit more and post up some solid dates soon.

See the post on Super Celebration West. Bronco Driver will be hosting a SC somewhere in CO (TBD) but the dates are set - September 9-13.

Updated the first post with the dates, I know it may not work for everyone but hope some can make it.

Re: Rubicon Trail
Great !
Now we have dates to work our schedules around.
It would be great to have about 10 Colorado Broncos in the group.
And those 10 will join up with Gunni in his Blue Beast !

Re: Rubicon Trail
I'll see what I can do about getting that week off, it shouldn't be a problem. Is there going to be a cap on the number of participants? I don't think we want a bronco "log jam" but shouldn't exclude anyone. https://www.edcgov.us/government/rubico ... trail.aspxhttps://www.4wheelparts.com/the-dirt/wh ... con-trail/https://www.fourwheeler.com/features/16 ... irst-time/
