Moving Purge
As some of you may have heard, we are relocating to a lovely town called Bend on the Deshutes River in Central Oregon. As much as I would love to haul all of my current parts hoard to the Pacific Northwest there is not room nor is it cost effective. Besides, we don't even have a residence there yet.
So my loss is your gain, most everything you see here is yours for the low cost of coming to pick it up. Those few items that I paid for will have a price with the pic and description.
Now for the big important fact, all these treasures will need picked up no later than the first weekend in June as I will be forced to haul th remains to the dump at that time. It looks like I will be moving the 2nd weekend in June.
As far as payment for any of this current list, all are are free... However if anyone would like to lend a hand getting Wilma ready to mount on her frame and off the clubs rotessorie I would gladly accept any and all help. My goal is to have the driver side door mounted bu next Sunday and move her off toe rotessorie to the frame then. I will deal with passenger side rust repairs once we are settled in Oregon.
Which leave me with the last / most urgent matter. Gunny - you are next in line for the rotessorie, do you still need it and if so, what are the chances you are heading to the front range after next weekend?
Thank you all
Greg

Re: Moving Purge
I'd like the 7 blade fan, but can't say I can come get it. If it can be shipped or given to anther member. Let me know price. Also interested in any PS pump brackets, or pulleys necessary for upgrading stock front dress to PS.

I can hang on to the fan for you. How solid are the doors?

Re: Moving Purge
Sent you a message regarding the rotisserie. Won't be needing it.

Re: Moving Purge
Well Greg, sorry to see you go! I hope it's a good move for you!! And that you find the time to get Wilma on the road!!
The club will surely miss Mr. Glass (or is it Mr. Transparent?)
I have an Uncle and Aunt that live in or near Bend. It's a nice place at least! You could be moving to the flatlands of IL?!?!?

I'll take the doors if they are still available and Justin does not want them.

Re: Moving Purge
So showings up the wazoo last weekend prevented me from hosting any type of build-a-bronco reassembly gathering in my garage. I am going to choose an evening this week and just say no to any showings so we can have said party. Expect a Weds or Thursday evening gathering at the Evans Compound.
As much as I like you guys, I don't think a half dozen EB enthusiasts really makes for a great environment for potential buyers looking into the homogenized Highlands Ranch suburban wonderland...
I will post up this evening or tomorrow morning.
Greg

Re: Moving Purge
I'm sorry I did not get your PM, extremely busy does not even begin to cover my life right now. I will dig the doors out and get them to anyone in the metro area who can deliver them or if I am able to make it, to the swap meet. By then all the extra stuff will be done and out of my hair so the time for a breakfast will not interfere. I just hope someone is bringing a big trailer and/or truck to haul the scrap because nothing I am bringing to that meet will be moving to Oregon with me.
They are set aside for you just as the other parts and rotessorie that are spoken for, I just have not had time for anything. This moving crap is a pain, no wonder I never do it. It sucks. Especially moving across country. That double sucks. You guys that move and relocate every few years, more power to you.
I seriously hope that at some point this weekend I can get that rotessorie freed up, if so I will get it to you Keith.
This gets easier and time opens up with a contract on my house. No more showings, no more hiding everything out of sight, making a mess in the garage that I can't clean up and put away in 15 minutes will no longer be forbidden. No more fixing up things we have lived with for years and years .... Sinks, faucets, painting, windows, screens, touching things up, purging all the extra stuff ( I am still just scraping the surface on the bronco stuff, and my wife.... Jeans, tops, shoes, purses.... Over $800 in 1 day garage sell 2 weeks ag), packing stuff, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning... Oh, and always living on the edge wondering, is this the one? Is this the showing that will sell it? I have not seen a single NHL playoff game. That really sucks!
Yeah. Moving is a real pain.
Anyone interested in living in a suburban paradise? Heading into weekend #2 on the market. All signs point to good things this weekend. Let me know if you want to see the place, I will send you a link to the Zillow ad. You can come by and check it out in person too.
I will get these parts tagged and see about getting them delivered.
Greg

Re: Moving Purge
Greg - I feel your pain brother! It is no fun. I am finding it harder and harder to find the motivation to settle into a new house every 4yrs! It gets old!
Keep at it! I am sure with the market the way it is, you should be able to sell pretty easily!
