Thank you 427wrangler for sending me the wiper switch !
It will work perfectly for the passenger ejection system I installed (or is it just for turning the overdrive off ?)

Spencer named our Bronco "Honkey" today
Something went haywire with the horn so it randomly honks when driving

Re: Rox Crusher's 77 sport
I haven't had an opportunity to do much on Old Honkey lately.
2 or 3 weeks ago I ran it up to Garry's to do an initial tune and eliminate some lean codes I was getting. We adjusted the fuel pressure regulator up a bit as it it would drop from 65 down to 55 or so under WOT. Then Garry did his magic on the computer and no more lean codes. Having said that, I went a bit far on the FPR adjustment as it was up to 73 psi at idle but I wasn't really concerned.
About a week later I was running errands and lost fuel pressure. Dropped from 73 down to a max of 25 (if I cycle the key a few times without running engine). found out that motor needs min of 16 psi to idle.
Turns out the hose between the pump and the pick up burst right at the clamp.
I'm almost wondering if it already had a small crack and a small leak which is what was making my 5.0 run crappy when it was in there and it finished itself off with the extra pressure required for the new system.
Anyway, yet another day sniffing gas fumes to get it running.

Re: Rox Crusher's 77 sport
If it's too much I have a set of 24lb injectors i'll let go of cheap. Just have to get with Garry and see if we can get the info for them. They are some odd ford injectors.

Re: Rox Crusher's 77 sport
The 351 was running hot since I put it in, it would get as hot as 225 on a hot day. I thought it was just the nature of the beast and needed to upgrade cooling system.
After converting to 94 Explorer radiator it was too cool, reaching a max of 180 or so.
Replaced the thermostat and it now runs at 192 as it should.
Will be interesting to see what it does this summer.

Re: Rox Crusher's 77 sport
Hi Jeff, I had the opportunity to read through your 77 Sport thread this morning. What a great looking rig. I really like the upgrades you have made, while keeping the stock look. That is the way I like em. I see that your hard top changed colors. Did you do a repaint and decide to go with the white? Either way it still look great white or blue. Somewhere on this forum, I seen a photo of a hidden winch upgrade your working on. Will you be adding information and build pic's to this thread? This is an upgrade I would like to do at some point, so interested in seeing how it all works out for you. Once again, Great Bronco! Fred

Re: Rox Crusher's 77 sport
Hello Fred,
The Bronco was repainted by a previous owner and the top had some rusty spots. I found a really nice top that had been reconditioned and repainted white which happened to match the painted stripes on mine perfectly. So I bought the white top and traded the blue one off.
When I win the lottery and get the body work and paint done I plan to go back to a color matched top.
I will be adding the hidden winch upgrade to the thread when I get back to finishing it up.
Jeff
