What do I need?
Got a hook up on a 89 f150 that is parting out. Wants to get the ZF out of it. What all should I grab so I don't need to outsource other stuff?
Second question is if I get everything, what is the going price for a np435 w/trailbanger to sell?

Re: What do I need?
Make sure its a ZF, not a M5OD. The ZF has diamond cross hatching pattern cast into the case. Its a pretty distinct difference.
You could grab the slave cylinder & hose, but you might want to use new stuff. BCB sells a flexible stainless hose that is easier to use than the molded Ford hose.
You should be able to use your clutch. You *just* need the adapter to the D20, but I don't know whats involved with that.

Re: What do I need?
This is probably a "duh", but shifter and boot, if it can be gotten out cleanly. The boots are apparently a massive PITA to get out without breaking the plastic parts.

Also make sure you get the reverse light switch that plugs into the side. Just cut with enough wire to tap into it.

Re: What do I need?
2x on verifying the transmission.
Many F150s came with M5OD R2's
The M5OD will work, but ZF5 is better with wider gearing. (deeper 1st gear)
