Local engine builders/machine shops?
I'm doing a frame off resto on my wife's 76 and looking to see what my options are locally for the engine. Any recommendations on a machine shop or any good long block builders around that may have a deal on a 351?
In Colorado Springs but willing to drive a few hours for the right shop.
Thanks,
Will

Go see Stan at Rocky Mountain Machine. He is the guy when it comes to Ford in COS. He can point you in the right direction for someone to do the assembly work.

D&K in Canon City have been honest and reliable. Always a decent price for me and others.
Danny will do what you want and does well on the pricing of the internals.

Re: Local engine builders/machine shops?
I just dropped off some stuff for Scott at MPG Heads this morning. I would suggest using him for any machine work you need to do to your block but he does not do any assembly of the parts. He did tell me that he has a buddy that will build it though so I would still suggest contacting him!

I had fire do the machine work on my 460. They milled the heads for screw in studs and roller rockers and guides. They also measured for push rods for the roller cam conversion.
