Nice job! Most importantly. Does the stereo work?

picked this up today. Now it'll have heat.
Also started to trace out and label the rats nest so I can clean it up.

Installed the heater blower motor. Also replaced the bolt on the tire carrier. All is good for now. This week will will be a full grease and look everything over before elk hunting.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Ordered some bilsteins to replace the shocks from the WH 3.5 lift kit. The lift is only 3 years old and those shocks were crap. After I removed them, I could compress the rear shocks and they wouldn't rebound. The bilsteins improved the street driving a bit but the big difference was a smoother ( not nearly as jolting) ride over some rough terrain. These Bilsteins plus airing down should make the road to Jenny Creek decent. These are the 5100/5125 series. Front 24-065283 Rear 33-186542.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Finally got around to fixing my sticking brakes on Stroppe'd. When I did my hydro boost/disc swap I failed to clearance the knuckle and caliper enough. This resulted in a hanging caliper but made for one helluva emergency brake. Abrupt stops on the road forced me to hook the pedal and pull it back though. So, with some time to myself yesterday I finally finished the job with my die grinder.
After the brakes were done, I repaired a busted Warn premium that lost a spring and spring lock. Also, I repacked my bearings, seeing as I was already in there.

Finally got the engine trans and transfer case installed today. It's one step at a time and someday it will be done.IMG_1833.jpg IMG_1832.JPG

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Installed new motor mounts. Unlike the previous owner, I used Loctite and a torque wrench. I can only imagine how much of a PITA it must be when you've got a front axle, headers and inner fenders in the way.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Garry came by this morning and fine tuned the engine. Was having some issues of it stalling where the air idle was a little off. Took the better half for a short ride with no issues. Now I just need to figure out why my heater switch won't turn on to really be ready to drive it this winter.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Is your wiring new or old? My heater fan was melting the solder inside the fuse (not the fuse wire that is supposed to blow). High resistance/rust was causing it. I bypassed the old fuse panel fuse & wired it through an modern inline fuse holder. Just a temp fix knowing I'd rewire sooner than later.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
At the last breakfast I had Heat Envy out of Robs rig. I think JYD had it too because soon after there was some coolant under the box. Good time to pull the box and give it a refresh. New core, motor, and bigger squirrel cage. I'm going to put it back in before Santa needs his sleigh.
Big thanks to Zoso for the motivation, part numbers and advise.

Looks good! It's a big difference. Nice work putting in the antigravity module too. That really makes the defrost effective.

I just pull the floor mats out. Those long tube headers everyone seems to hate just warm the truck right up.
