4r70w tranny wanted
If anybody knows where I can get a super low miles '98 or up 4r70w for a 5.0, let me know. If nothing comes up, I'll have to fork over the dough for a reman.

Re: 4r70w tranny wanted
Wish I had seen this earlier today. Stopped by the salvage yard on my way home from visiting the wife at work. Would have had a look for you. What's a common vehicle for them?

Re: 4r70w tranny wanted
I'd say either a truck or Explorer with a 5.0. There's one on eBay right now. 10,000 mile rollover for $100 starting, $500 buy-it-now. Might be exactly what the doctor ordered, but I'm not sure about the bolt pattern.
The 10,000 miles is really inviting, but, then again, how would one know they aren't lying about the miles? No way to tell.

Ask the seller for the VIN of the rollover and run a Carfax?
I'll keep my eyes peeled at the yard down here.

4r70w has been purchased. For those offering to look next time they go to the yard, thanks for the offer, but no longer necessary. Thanks!
