Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
I drove it to Johnstown Friday afternoon and back home yesterday when it was 95 degrees out.
I really love this drivetrain gearing combination as I can run down the hiway very comfortably. I have a bit of a vibration in the chassis at 65 ish but it smooths out at 70. It really runs super smooth at 80 -85.
All the while, the engine temp didn't get above 200 and the tranny was always at 190 or lower.
Only thing missing is A/C.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Transmission is bolted back up to the bell housing, torque converter to the flex plate, and starter is installed. Not bad for a one armed dope head. I credit the new transmission jack for the ease of reinstall.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Pulled Drews out of the garage to clean the underside before we start tearing into to C-4 to get to the parking prawl this afternoon.
A little degreaser and a pressure washer - amazing how much crap and crus was on the drive way when we were done (damn boy, you only drove her a few months, how did you get it that dirty?)......
Never mind, that was a rhetorical question.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Tired of seeing TO languishing in the driveway, I jury rigged the shift rod to the control lever on the column and drove it out of the driveway and into the yard. Hopefully the WH bushings are more pliable than the Dormans Corey picked up for me.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Today was electrical day
I repaired the wiring to the light on the license plate frame.
Then I disassembled the ARB switches and reconfigured the switch for the compressor so it toggle on in the same direction as the other two. Relocated the switches so I can reach and see them better

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Got the brake lights working on Terrible One with a little help from my assistant. Gotta love those Ford engineers. Keep the same style electrical connections for the same/similar part? Nah.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Drove it today. Altho the engine temp stayed between 180-190 I found the fuel pump cant keep up if i get into it.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Inspired by Porky..........
I found a really nice set of American Racing 8.5" wide Vectors. Should be here in a couple weeks.
I'm thinking about running them with some all terrain tires in the summer and put the slots / DuraTracs on when wheeling.
