In the last 2 weeks I installed a 1 inch body lift, new oil pump, crankshaft scraper, clutch, and a twin stick shifter. Note lifting a 40+ year old and very rusted body created more problems, big rust crack on cowl just got bigger.
Next will be to do something with the cowl.

In the last month, rebuilt the NP435, installed a seal kit for the D20, new clutch in the 351w.

Pulled off the Holley fuel Injection, installed a new Holley Street Dominator intake manifold for a spreadbore carburator.

Installed a Q Jet carburator, new carter electric fuel pump, new fuel lines and filters.


I am so ready to drive this thing!

Finished bolting up the C4, D20 and driveshafts. Still need to get the auto column, cooler and lines, and linkages installed.

Ah yes. Thanks. That was fun, finding the correct vacuum modulator.

If shopping at Auto Zone, ask for a 1977 Bronco as the 73-76 options only return vacuum modulators for FMX and C6 transmissions.

Since Moab I have been too busy with work and yard work to do much other than an occasional trip to the froyo with the kids...............

Installed mount for iPad Mini

Installed new turn signal switch. I should get fewer dirty looks for not signaling.

Installed upper bearing on the steering shaft. This fixed the slop and amazingly enough eliminated the vibration I was feeling in the wheel at certain speeds.

Nice. A few extra holes and different stain made the wheel pretty sweet.

How does the mount attach?

My Dad reports that he opened the shipping container, as he's done every couple months, connected the battery, turned the key to prime the pump and one little bump on the starter and she roars to life each and every time! Makes me feel awful good for the given situation!

Shimmed and fit my doors today with the help of HockeyDad. Not perfect but works for me!

The more exciting news is I drove to HR and back with no vapor lock issues!

Took old stock water pump out and installed a high efficiency water pump it dropped it 20 degrees compared to the original in temp.

Nice! Looks great.

Finished the 23gallon tank install. Put a few gallons in it to make sure it works and went for a drive to get dinner. Got a lot of attention at dinner with it.
