Unless Justin owns a jeep and was having work done by them, well anything is possible

Re: Battlements issues?
You read correctly. Clint took a job working for Airgas in Rock Spring, WY a couple of months ago and finished moving this weekend. Nate is now running the shop. Still waiting on my brackets, although communication has been much better. Still not convinced I'll see them, but he did independently email me to let me know their plasma table was down and they were waiting on parts.

Well that's good I guess. Sounds like nate is doing a better job based on a couple posts. Hope you get your brackets soon justin

Re: Battlements issues?
The shop has good potential, but I also suffered some setbacks when I bought my arms from him. Hopefully with good management they can get on track!

I'm surprised they've stayed in business given the number of stories out there about them.

It will take a lot of doing to overcome the dark cloud!

Re: Battlements issues?
I live in GJ and have met Cliff the owner and Nate who is running the shop now. Both are nice guys and seem to be good fabricators. However, I would exercise caution right now while they work through the business issues the company has.

Re: Battlements issues?
Agreed. I'm still hopeful that I'll see my parts someday. The latest is that their plasma table has been down for 1-2 weeks while they wait on parts. Nate is now out until 6/12. I'm growing cranky again. If I get my rear shock towers built and installed and the rear axle back together without getting them words will be had and I'll make my own or go elsewhere.

Re: Battlements issues?
A few years ago, we did a CCB Group Steering Build at brianut's home. Had 8 guys coming, garage booked, paid money, food bought, tools ready, and no parts. Clint had 2 months to get the parts for the TRE group build and he still didn't come through. Fortunately, Ruff Stuff Specialties came through with better prices, 2-day notice, parts in stock, super fast shipping, no excuses, free beanies, free stickers, group discount, top quality parts, 100% complete order, and saved the build day. If anyone wants fab parts on time, hit up Ruff Stuff Specialties - they are the real deal. Question: Why the hell is there an ad for Battlement in the banner? viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4206&hilit=Tre+steering

Until they get their act together I completely agree.

Re: Battlements issues?
I agree I have had nothing but issues with them. I had the same problem as you justin, he sent me brackets with a diameter of 3.25 way bigger than the dana 44. Took many calls and weeks to get new brackets that ended up still being wrong but workable. I say that the banner down and cut ties with them.

Re: Battlements issues?
So....I'm done with Battlement. The communication with Nate was much better until the last week. He and I traded a couple of emails on 6/13, and he made all the right noises. Table was back up, tested out OK, confirmed the axle diameter, etc. Total radio silence since despite a couple of emails requesting an update. No parts. I'd hoped that things were actually better, but it doesn't look like it. I'm not sure they could suck worse if they had an electrified sucking machine.

Can't say you didn't try. That really sucks man! Hope you get your money's worth of bad press on all the appropriate 4x4 sites.

I plan to. There's a thread over on CB.com at the moment that suggests Nate might have jumped ship. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showth ... abrication

Re: Battlements issues?
Whatever protections were offered by BF having filed with the state as a corporation likely are null and void seeing as they haven't been official with the state in over a year.

CO Secretary of State site for LLC and Corporation filing. BFs paperwork expired last July.

Re: Battlements issues?
I feel your frustration and I can only commiserate with you. Fortunately, my issues a few years ago were cleared up and I seem to have a little luck on my side for Bronco Vendors. Remember the bronco covers on cb.com that covered the top half and the door openings? I was one of the few to actually get one. Anyway it just plain old sucks to have what could have been a great bronco enthusiast business in CO turn up like this. Coulda been beautiful!
