April Breakfast and Swap Meet
It's swap meet time! It's been about a year since our last swap meet, so you Bronco Hoarders have had time to gather giant piles of parts that you don't really need. Come out and turn them into cash, so that you can buy even more parts you don't need!
Where: Golden Corral off Santa Fe-3677 S. Santa Fe Dr., Sheridan, CO 80110 When: April 19 @ 8:00a Why: Because you need more dirty, rusty Bronco stuff! How: In your Bronco, of course.
Hope to see everyone there!

Don't forget, part of this annual event is the scrap run, bring all your scrap to donate, we will consolidate and turn it to cash to help fund future club events, expenses and builds

Re: April Breakfast and Swap Meet
Hoping to make it down from the Black Hills it's about a 6 hour drive I need to get some pictures of the 70' and I have a Bronco I need to get torn down and some parts listed (dana 44, Big and Medium bearing 9" etc...) stayed tuned to the for sale adds and I'll list the stuff and haul it down with me but it will all depend if I get the 70' sold or not. Costs some $$ to drive the dually and a trailer down there.

Re: April Breakfast and Swap Meet
If anyone has something they are looking for post it up. Im going to bring down some stuff but with the Moab trip approaching fast I have been spending most of my free time preparing for that and have not spent much time sorting through my piles of stuff. That said, I'll dig parts out if I know someone is needing them. Someone needed a pitman arm from a 78-79 Bronco steering box, who was that? I have enough of them that I have made yard art out of them.

Re: April Breakfast and Swap Meet
I've been wondering if anyone actually has anything left to sell. There have been so many good deals coming up lately it's just hard to imagine there are parts left.
I'll be driving the Super Duty and MAYBE pulling my trailer. So if anyone in Colorado Springs needs something hauled up north and sold, let me know.

I'm still in need of a pitman arm that would be great if you could bring one with you. If Kinder doesn't take the doors I'll take them. Thanks Rob C

Re: April Breakfast and Swap Meet
We need a volunteer with a truck to take the scrap to the recycler. I won't be able to bring my trailer or my truck tomorrow.
If the scrap load is small and it'll fit in the back of BSD then I'll take it.

If I actually get rid of some parts I can handle the scrap run.

Re: April Breakfast and Swap Meet
Well, the scrap run certainly was interesting. Mike, Steve (Friday), and I drove to Western to confirm whether or not they were actually closed on Saturdays. Turns out they are normally open (or so the sign says) and just happened to be closed, likely for Easter. While we sat in the parking lot formulating a plan, two teens in a Super Duty pulled in with a very minimal load of metal only to load up a washer and dryer someone had apparently dumped in the parking lot out of e. As Mike, Steve and I prepared to crossroad Bronco parts and scrap metal (those terms were likely interchangeable today), someone informed us that another recycler further north was open; but only for 30 more minutes. In Good Samaritan style we loaded up a homeless woman's bike and trailer onto my trailer and she hopped in Mike's truck, so she could make it in time before they closed. The washer/dryer kids lined up behind us and we made a quick convoy north to the land of twisted metal. In all we managed to pull in $204 between the 180lbs in my truck and 1800 in Mike's.
