 Re: Any homebrewers or pilots out there? I do brew. Only for about a year and just a few all grain batches under my belt, but have a hellova good time doing it. The Brew Hut is one of my favorite places to visit-just a long drive from my house.

Re: Any homebrewers or pilots out there? airbur - All-grain I have made a Vanilla Bourbon Porter, an Imperial IPA and a couple batches of a Blood Orange Heffe-delicious. Made tons of different  s with extract/partial mash or specialty grains. I like all-grain a lot but with quality ingredients extract and specialty grains have given s that are just as good (or better-I messed up my first all grain attempt!) I was looking into kegging at home but had some $ issues a few months back and ended up selling my corny kegs. Oh well-bottles are easier anyways

Re: Any homebrewers or pilots out there? Yea, I understand about kegging. While it's nice to have, it can be a pain. I like to give most of my beer away and that's not possible with the kegged beer.

I don't brew (I leave that to Bones), but I am a pilot. It seems we have a lot of gun guys on the boards, too.

Any time sir! Last year I did a "Winter Wit" - Just a standard wit with some fresh snow - this year hasnt been so good for that

Re: Any homebrewers or pilots out there? For all of you current and former military people, the Post-9/11 GI Bill has just undergone a revision. Effective 1 October, 2011 the GI Bill will now pay full tuition or 10,000, which ever is less, towards flight certification. Guess where I'm gonna be in October!
