Post 6" drop
No, I'm not chopping the Bronco. I just bought a 20' car hauler. Looking for one of those fancy like adjustable height trailer hitches. Need something in the area of 6" to compensate (pun intended) for the 6.5" suspension lift on the Super Duty.

Anyone have a favorite, non-budget busting place to buy these things?

just buy a regular one with the drop you need. I have seen a few of those adjustable height ones wobble really bad.

I've got an adjustable 2" - 6" one you can borrow if you need it fast, but I think Harbor freight sells the same one I have.

Post Re: 6" drop
Thanks for the offer Gary. Turns out I didn't need the trailer today.

I currently have a 5 3/4" drop that I picked up at Wal-Mart or someplace similar back when I picked up Project X. (Thought someone stole my previous one. Turns out it was just under the bed box in the truck)

The current one is still a bit short to give me a good warm fuzzy that I am not going to drag the dovetail on a speed bump.

I was thinking the adjustable ones might be able to get me below 6" to even things out a bit more.

Zack, Dee's RV carries, or can order, Reese drop hitches. I've ordered from them for my Motorhome tow bar. I like the forged class V hitches for the added safety factor and they are somewhere in the $60.00 price range if that's in the budget range. I think you can get 6" or 8" drops.

Thanks Mark. Should have thought of them. There is a Bronco owner who works at the one off Sinton.
