Re: 25 August- COS Bronco BBQ, Bear Creek Park, Colorado Spr
Corey (Colorado75Bronc) has graciously offered to accept the drop off of the burgers and charcoal that I have/will be picking up for the BBQ next weekend. So, there should be no problem with the delivery of those vittles for the event.

Re: 25 August- COS Bronco BBQ, Bear Creek Park, Colorado Spr
Do you have an idea of how many people will be attending? from your survey, it looks to be only 3 families/Bronco's.... People need to reply and state whether they are attending or not, makes it ALOT easier to figure the amount of food needed...

I suggest sending a Mass Email to get the word out that this event is still on for this weekend. I would also post something on ACB as well. Maybe Airbur will send a Mass Email to their members as well.

Well, I was keeping my fingers crossed that something didn't come up, but I'll be in Denver all day. I might be able to drop by in the morning if people are going to be there, but thats about it. Completely bummed about this one.

Unless there are people dying to do a trail run, I will be there at 12, at the park that is. I can bring plates, utensils and condiments. I suggest people bring there own drinks...

Unfortunately I won't make it. I have to go to a funeral out of town and won't be back until late. Bummed to miss it because this one would be the last fling of the summer.

Re: 25 August- COS Bronco BBQ, Bear Creek Park, Colorado Spr
From the looks of it, there will be 4 families/Bronco's in attendance. Not much of a turn out for the amount of Bronco owners out there....

I've had a change in plans. I don't have to be in Denver until 5 pm, so I will be there with my 2 boys & wife for a while around noon.

Ya in light of the recent events the interest seemed to drop off immensely, plus acb is having their first meeting on Sunday :(

I was looking forward to making the trail ride but my Bronco is still in the shop and doesn't look like it will be getting out in time to make the trip. Have fun.

Re: 25 August- COS Bronco BBQ, Bear Creek Park, Colorado Spr
Should we postpone this? If there are only going to have 13 to 15 people and 5 rigs, it almost seems a little disappointing. But that is just me thinking out loud.....

Re: 25 August- COS Bronco BBQ, Bear Creek Park, Colorado Spr
I'd planned to call El Paso Parks and Rec yesterday to inquire about a possible refund on the reservation fee. Work got the better of me and I found I was unable to make the call in time.
For now, let's consider this postponed until a later date due to lack of participation. No offense to those people that did chime in and indicate they were coming.
I'll make that call today when I get the chance. In the event the reservation fee cannot be refunded, I invite anyone who wishes to take advantage of the park, the pavilion, and the day courtesy of CCB.

Re: Postponed- COS Bronco BBQ, Bear Creek Park, Colorado Spr
Broken record, but a Mass Email would be a great idea letting people know that this is cancelled. Colorado guys get 12 Saturdays in the Summer and loading up the family, chairs, cooler, blankets, bocci, washing my truck, food, excitement, etc. only to attend a cancelled event would ruin 1 of the precious Saturdays.
