66 3 speed linkage
My friend has a great, stock, 66 halfcab here in Gunnison, it used to be the parts truck for her father's Ford dealership in Center. It has some problems with the 3 on the tree, and she was told to buy new shifter/linkage. I haven't looked at it, but if anyone has the linkage sitting around, we could use it down here. I don't know what years would work.

Re: 66 3 speed linkage
Someone make a rebuild kit for the linkages? More than likely it's the joints and not the linkage itself.

Re: 66 3 speed linkage
I should really take a look at the truck myself, and not believe what someone else told them, but it is in storage and won't be in town till summer. I just thought if someone had some junk cluttering up their space, it would be nice to have everything in hand.
I took my 3 on the tree out so long ago, I don't remember how it was built. There probably are just some bushings that need replaced.
