Everything is finally in and bolted up. The only problem I am having now is with pedal return after the brakes have been applied. I get a nice firm pedal all the way to braking. If I go full force I do get a little squealing out of the PS pump. Once I take pressure off of the pedal, I get zero return. It's almost like an emergency brake. I did install the guide pin and spring in the hydro, it just seems as though it does not have enough force to overcome the hydro piston. Brakes seem to engage at about 25-50% pedal down but do not disengage until nearly 100% pedal lift.

I'm thinking I need to do a lot more bleeding on the system. Wondering if any one else ran in to a similar issue with their install.

If I remember right with mine, make sure you work the hydraulic fluid through the system pretty good. Lift the front end up and turn the wheel from lock to lock 8-10 times, kill the engine, hit the brakes until the fluid in the reserve reservoir is drained and repeat a couple of times. I probably get pedal about 25-50% down myself, but it's pretty quick response otherwise. Try that and see if that works.

I think I've read that sticking brakes & a pedal that doesn't return has to do with the return line plumbing. Using a dual return pump or making sure the h-boost returns straight through the "T" usually fixes it. I have not had this kind of problem, I just think I've read it a few times.

I had a growling/moaning pump when things needed bled. It can take lots of turning lock to lock, don't foam up the fluid. I used a vacuum bleeder & it went very easy.

You probably will experience a slow pedal return for a couple hundred miles, then everything should be ok. Mine was that way and I believe Rox's was as well, searching on cb.com most of the threads claim slow return for a while
