Re: WH 5.5" lIft
I have cage 5.5 inch coils up front with winch and bumper. They are pretty soft. Probably a little softer than the WH springs. I will grab a measurement after work today and let you know. I have a feeling it will be too high for you. I think WH sells 4.5 inch springs now don't they? Or is that BC broncos? I bet 4.5 would get you where you want. Got any pics of the modified front bumper? I am sure you changed it up a bit!

You've seen the 74. Ran into the same problem. It has a bad rake to it. The wh springs sag pretty bad

Re: WH 5.5" lIft
I have the new WH 5.5" Lift. It as stiff as something made by Catepillar. I need to follow ZOSO's advice and pull one of the two shocks off each wheel to see if that helps. Anyway - you are always welcome to measure mine. Should be working on mine most of the weekend. I owe ya anyway for all of the help yesterday!

Not sure if they'll work for what you're doing, but you're welcome to the 5.5" front springs off my truck when I get those Duffs put in. They're stiff, but they'll fix that sag.

Re: WH 5.5" lIft
I just measured my bronco and found it sitting precisely at 12.5". 302, heavy cage, heavy bumper, winch. The coils are about 2 years old with mostly trail miles on them.

Re: WH 5.5" lIft
i've got the 4.5" coils up front, no winch or bumper yet, but i dont think i'll be of much help to ya as the measurements would be totally different as i have the fw hp d44 and the way i adapted my lower coil cups it added 3/4" to the height so i pretty much have 5.25" of lift up front, but so ya know i love my wh 4.5" coils, they ride great and not too stiff, not as soft as the cage coils, but still soft in my opinion and thats even with the super bound up stock radius arms that i still have under it
