James Duff dual sport 4 link 3.5" lift
So, like any projects, mine has shifted directions many times. At this time I have become unsatisfied with the Dual Sport 4 link system sold to me by James Duff Inc. The system will come with almost everything - but I am using the arms / rod ends for a custom setup. The system uses poly bushings at one end with enduro style heims at the opposite end. You could easily just use heim joints, instead since you will need to provide arms and rod ends yourself. Ruff Tuff parts kit would cost about $720 for DOM 4' kit and rod ends, threaded inserts, jam nuts (maybe could source DOM locally to save money)
My concept was to make the bronco handle as well as a solid axle, narrow vehicle, with short wheelbase can ;) I think this kit can still improve someone else’s bronco. My rear Axle is an aftermarket ford 9” and the truss won’t fit!
This kit requires 2.5” Suspension lift (I chose 3.5”) and minimum of 1” of body lift for the shock tab crossmember (upper mounts) I can’t say if it would work with less Suspension Lift than 2.5” , but assume the body lift was only required for the upper shock tabs. If you had no lift, there is probably a workaround. I paid over $3,000 with tax and shipping
All items are "midnight series" black color axle truss built for Ford Centurion (these are very typical) Style for standard early bronco width Ford 9" $1400 Frame brackets - one for each side of the inner frame - one piece for both upper and lower arms 3.5" rear coils springs (progressive rate) $230 HD spring perches that attach to the truss (lower) $90 HD coil Buckets (uppers) have been tack welded (removed) $200 (4) Shock tabs for axle (lower) - 2 have been tack welded (removed) Cross member for shock upper tabs - has been tack welded. (removed) $500? - requires minimum 1” Body lift to install. (4) MS 2020 (made by Eibach for duff) 10" shock for broncos 16" compressed 26" extended. $600
Nothing has been "used" only mocked up and test fit. Some parts were tack welded.
subtracting the cost of arms -$800 - call it retail value of $2,200.
I would like $1,700 for it all.

good deal for someone. I love my dual sport 4 link. Great system when setup right.

geesh...I am moving soon and likely won't have a shop to install something like this, but it is tempting!!
