Re: Anti-wrap ideas
Yep. Part of the game when you deviate from stock. I hate that I get to wheel so infrequently anymore, that I have forgotten a lot of these particulars. I hope to up my game in WA!
Test trail run scheduled for April 8 & 9th in SD! Probably my last hurrah in the mid-west for now.

Re: Anti-wrap ideas
So I'm finally getting close to building the anti-wrap bar and revisiting what I've read.
How are you feeling about your set up?
Your shackle is at 12 o'clock correct?
Do you feel like it added enough or too much anti-squat? Do you get any wheel hop?
Would you make any changes to your set up if you did it over again?
Thanks

Re: Anti-wrap ideas
Chad,
Aside from not breaking any more u-joints on the 4 trips I have been out, I don't even notice it's there.
The one time I tested this on pavement (wet), I could break the tires loose, and there was no wheel hop. I don't drive it enough anymore to have a better report and with the spooled rear end that takes the cake for unruly riding, it's hard to nail down any illeffects. I didn't notice any anti-squat issues, but I am far from an expert.
My biggest issue is that I have inboard shocks and the ones side now contacts this device, so I will have to remedy that somehow. Yes, my shackle is still at 12 and it has been working just fine. I wouldn't change a thing so far.
