Tip to Tail Transmission setup
Looking for a complete auto or standard setup, auto would be a C4/adapter/D20 transfer case set including the flywheel/torque converter/shift/kick down linkage. For a standard set up I'm looking for a 4 speed/adapter/D20 transfer case set including the bell housing/pressure plate/clutch/shifter/clutch linkage. This would be for the project Bronco that I'll be building with my older son next summer. I'm open to alternative combos, but I'm trying to keep the cost down since this is his truck, he is 14 now and the goal is to have it complete by the time he turns 16.

Re: Tip to Tail Transmission setup
Phil, that would work great, I have an unkown condition T-shift D20 that I could bolt it to. What are you looking to get out of it? I could easily send you the funds, do you need it out of your way or could you hold onto it for a couple of months until I get home on R&R?

Re: Tip to Tail Transmission setup
Including complete rebuild with all new seals, rear servo, shift kit, new bands, new clutches, cooling mods, rebuilt converter, new flexplate (need to know balance), blockplate, vac line, kickdown rod, NSS, new adapter seal, spud, adapter and bearing retainer it would be approximately $950. Basically everything except a shifter. It would work fine with the T shift D20 and require no driveshaft or crossmember mods to bolt in.

Re: Tip to Tail Transmission setup
Is this something you want gone soon or are you going to build it? I'll need to save up a few more dollars to afford it and wouldn't be able to put it to use until spring.

I have it all disassembled and cleaned up now. I can hang on to it and put it together when you're ready for it. I don't mind storing it.

Thanks Phil, let me know the progress and we can work out the payment, no rush on my end.
