July Breakfast-CHANGE OF LOCATION!!!
For those who won't be going on the Jenny Creek run ( viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6376) breakfast will be at Eck's house. His engine went boom and he needs some backup! Where: Eck's house. 2780 Fenton St. in Wheat Ridge When: 7/19/14 @ our usual 0800. How: In your Bronco, of course! Unless it's like mine and is in perma-jackstand mode. Why: Because it just won't be the same if someone doesn't say "It's only Eck's truck!" at least every 15 minutes. The next breakfast will return to the Golden Corral on Santa Fe, with a tentative tech day to follow in Lakewood. Mark your calendars for 8/16/14 at 0800. If you want to be one of the cool kids, you'll be there!

Re: July Breakfast
Justin- not sure if you were still already planning a tech day for Saturday but i would like to throw my hat in the ring.
I could certainly use some help pulling my motor and I'm guessing it wouldn't take a real long time. It would be great if someone who knew what they were looking for in the motor was there to help determine just what needs replaced/rebuilding.
If people are available and interested, I live off 29th and Sheridan.

Re: July Breakfast
Well since I have done nothing to Drew's trans other than de-grease and power wash the whole engine and underside of the truck..... I might just make this breakfast... Of course I do have a conflict with a hockey skate I paid for months ago....
ugh - well I might make it, or I might not, or Daniel might make it, or he might not....
I know I would be on the Jenny Creek run if we had a running rig.

Re: July Breakfast
Guys, I'm going to hold off on the tech day, just need to confirm dates and I'll post it up for August. Eck, I hope this means some folks can come over and lend a hand since you're not super far from breakfast! I' won't be making this one, as I'll be out of town. I need to start scheduling these on days I'm around...

Re: July Breakfast
Ok- I'm gonna make a suggestion. Since there has not been a lot of responses to the breakfast, I am gonna say let's start the engine removal at my house at 8am. I will provide donuts, coffee, and by late morning, if we are still going, switch to pork green chile and other libations.
I'm at 2780 Fenton St. in Wheat Ridge. Please let me know so I can buy accordingly.

Re: July Breakfast
First post updated to reflect change of location and reminder to repeat "It's only Eck's truck!". Eck, it's late and I'm tired so please feel free to let me know if this change was a bad idea.

Re: July Breakfast-CHANGE OF LOCATION!!!
I bought my wife a Bronco for Mother's Day (it was her dream car), and she was hoping to meetup to see what this 'club' was like, and meet people with the same giddy-ness towards Broncos.
Is the breakfast as someone's house? If so, should she bring something to share? How does the breakfast work?

Re: July Breakfast-CHANGE OF LOCATION!!!
This one is going to be at Eck's house for open heart Bronco surgery. I'll let Eck chime in as to whether or not a pot luck is in order. Typically our breakfasts involve us unwisely driving 40+ year old trucks way too far for the same breakfast we could eat 10 minutes away. We then stand around in a parking lot and over new parts people have bought or fabricated, fun at gym teachers and people who have plumber's butt. Finally, everyone drags the same old rusty parts out of their trucks that have been swapped around to 5 other people and hand them off to someone new so they can continue to never be installed. And those are the fun ones!

I'm supplying donuts and coffee for the breakfast on Saturday. People are more than welcome to bring whatever they want though if something else is wanted.

Re: July Breakfast-CHANGE OF LOCATION!!!
I plan on coming by in the morning if I can get away from work long enough. I did just schedule a remote tuning session at 11:00 so I'll have to leave you all hangin and won't be of much help. Any tools you need? Ridge reamer? Hone? Ring compressor?
