Removing the Rear Quarter Panels
I have rusted Rear Quarter Panels where the Lower Body Quarter Panel meets the Bed Panel. I know it is a very common place for rust. I have it on both sides of the truck.
What is the best way to remove the panel? Looks like spot welds and the door support, wheel wells, and the Tail Light Section are holding it in place. Does not look fun. Is it easier to replace the whole rear Quarter panel (Upper and Lower)?
One cool thing about the new rear fenders is my Bronco will be an Uncut Bronco for a while!

Re: Removing the Rear Quarter Panels
We used an angle grinder. Cut the majority of the lower off, find the welds and grind them off. Not real fun, but a few hours and it will all be over. And like zillacon said spot weld / weld the new one on. Dont weld too much in one are or they will warp. use a good seamsealer, prime and paint.

Re: Removing the Rear Quarter Panels
I am getting very good with an angle grinder on this Bronco project - I will be able to do surgery with it come spring lol. I appreciate the advice. I will treat it like a trip to the dentist - not fun and be over with in a while
