This may be a long shot, but does anyone have a set on 7/8x18 left and right hand taps that I could use? I've mostly decided to go with DOM tube and chevy rod ends for my new steering linkage but don't want to spend $150 on taps to do it just yet. Plan to later, but want to get the Bronco on the road. |

Thanks! I'd appreciate it. I'd be happy to bring the tube to you once I have it as well. I'm off on paternity leave at the moment and my wife is doing well, so running out for a couple of house isn't a big deal. |

Where do you live and I can either drop it by your house or meet you somewhere mutually convenient if we do have them. |

Justin, Bad news on the taps. I checked our machine shop and only found 7/8-9. I checked our model shop and they didn't have any 7/8 taps. Sorry I couldn't help you. Have you considered taking your tubing to a machine shop and having them thread it versus buying taps? |

No sweat, I appreciate you checking. I'll likely have a machine shop do it this time around, but might invest in the R hand threaded tap so that I can shorten them at home if needed. |
