My rockers are rough on the bottom and really just need to weld in a new panel. I need 2 piece of sheet metal 4" x 40" - is there a place open on Saturday to get this kind of stuff? |

just cut them off. you dont need rockers. all they do is collect dirt and mud. rust out and get smashed when wheelin. |

He does and they are bad a**! He said that this was the first bronco he had with good rockers and wanted to keep them that way. WCB uses rattle cans to paint them so that they are easy to touch up. |

You know they're no joke when your rockers weigh 63 lbs. I'm torn between cutting my rockers (rust) and doing something like this. I'd cut them in a heartbeat, but kind of want to maintain use of my aux tank. |

I've been thinking about something like that. Maybe doing a regular 2x6 slider on the passenger's side and building either a 2x6 with an additional plate to cover the tank or a triangular slider w/more space for compressed air. |

Come on by, I just put a new one on the DS...It makes a helluva difference in the look! Since your gonna run uncut I think you will like them with or with out the covers. |

There has been chats off and on over the last few months about rockers and I know that CMCDowell wanted to build some from the 2 x 6 square tubing as well. That would be an awesome tech class. I remember Dan chimed in stating he wanted to use his for air tanks. |

I called Commercial Sheet Metal in Denver - they are cutting me 2 new rockers 4" x 40" for $5.00 Each and ready this afternoon. I hope they will do a great job and become another resource for the club. |
