Metal Wash
For cleaning all of the parts from my doors, bolts, etc. I want to clean the metal. Anyone ever used anything like this:
After that, I was thinking something like this to protect it:
Anyone have any opinions on this process or a better solution?

I have used Murratic acid straight and diluted with H20 .. Gloves .. eye protection.. and a breathing mask rinse with water and clean with IPA
I also use the 1 gallon container of Carb. cleaner but be carefull not to weld on any of the parts you clean with this method because the film left behind will create toxic gas as will parts cleaned with brake cleaner.

I will likely order the Eastwood stuff - they have had great products so far. Thanks for your input.
