Re: you know its cold when
Dual Survival! Cool stuff. But why Gunnison? One day while in Homer, AK we were looking for a specific winery and stopped by a subway to ask for directions. I asked the clerk who didn't have a clue. But a customer told me where to find the winery. I told him he looked familiar and asked if he had just flown in thinking I saw him on the plane. He said yes, but from LA. Hmmm no connection there, but there was something about him that looked familiar. We found the winery and got our case of wine. It wasn't until hours later that I realized who I had seen. I was driving the vehicle with my wife and inlaws in the car. I just sorta shouted "SOB, I know who that guy was", surely interrupting some other conversations. There was an Alaskan Series a few years ago called Tougher in Alaska hosted by Geo Beach. Cool show, but it was Mr. Beach whom gave me the directions. I made the connection hours too late and out of the blue. We had a good laugh, but I wish I could have had him sign something for me.

Re: you know its cold when
They are in town filming an episode.
I remember that show, that is a great story.
A few months ago, I rented Bryan Cranson (Seinfeld, Malcom in the Middle, Breaking Bad) a rental car. I did not know who he was, but the girl running the Budget rental car did. She kind of freaked out, it was funny. He was real nice, even got on the phone with her brother, as his Breaking Bad character.

Re: you know its cold when
Too funny. Gunnison must be doing some great advertising in Hollywood or something...
