Welder options
Sold my 110v Lincoln (sorry Eck!) to upgrade to a 220v unit and am looking for suggestions. I'm currently planning to build a bumper and sliders out of mostly 1/4" plate, with one notable spot of 3/8" (the front of the winch mounting plate). The big welding project will be an expedition style trailer at some point down the road. I'm hoping to score a great Black Friday deal this week. I had decided to go with a SP-180T, but am now looking at the Hobart Handler 210MVP for the extra power. The ability to run 110v is a plus as well since my garage isn't currently wired for 220v and my wife will get cranky if I take over the dryer outlet too often. Any opinions or other units I should be looking at?

Re: Welder options
Put a 220 outlet in the garage. That's what I'd do.

Re: Welder options
Murdochs has 15% off everything tomorrow. They sell Hobart.
