CCB wanted to pass along this information to it's members. F.E.A.T is a not-for-profit committee of the Colorado Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs, Inc. (CoA4WDCi), which assists emergency services personnel during times of crisis in the Denver Metro area. FEAT is also providing emergency services to Jefferson County’s (Jeffco - OEM). This service will not be used during snow emergencies, but could include moving supplies and personnel to firefighters using our 4wheel drive vehicles or assisting in floods, or other services in which JeffCo may need help. If you think this is something you would like to participate in simply follow the link, fill out an application for your specific area (include Colorado Classic Broncos as your Club) and give back to the community, not to mention having an excuse to SMASH AROUND IN THE SNOW!! |

My wife is a nurse and as such I am often drafted into service driving nurses to and from work when the roads are difficult in our excursion. This is one reason I always check the tire chains every fall... Paying it forward so to speak. Besides, picking up 4-5 nurses on their way to work is a riot - those ladies can be a real hoot when you are on the way in, after 12 hr shifts though, many just fall asleep for the trip home. |

Was it '03 when that huge storm hit Denver? Was living in an apartment on Lowry then. I pulled two Dr's out of the complex and onto the street that storm plus rescued countless other people including an ambulance. That was FUN! J.D. |

Try them again, I sent an email in when I deployed to let them know I wasn't going to be active for a while and they got back to me fairly quick. I can forward the email I received if you need it. |

Just a quick bump as a reminder to club members that this exists now that we're into snow season. There has been recent traffic about this on CO4x4, so it is active. http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=189703 |
