Hooker or Hedman Hedders
Anyone want to share their experience / recommendations on a particular set of hedders for the base 302 Bronco engine. I have no exhaust manifolds right now, so I need something and I was looking at the basic Hedman 89410 or the Hooker 6909 hedders. Thoughts anyone?

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
I can't comment on either one, but I do have a FREE set of stock manifolds if you'd like I'll send them along with the leaf springs.

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
I have a set of mustang Shorty headers for sale. Otherwise, hookers crack.

Salvage yard. I left behind a set of Mustang shorties a few trips ago. Wish I hadn't but I was running late back to work.

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
W/o a Part Number, I don't know how to tell whether or not these will fit. They are cheap and new and for a Ford 302 engine, but there is no box and no information.

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
Pretty safe bet you will have some clearance issues with those. I saw the same ad. Made for late model, 80's and later, Broncos. Correct?

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
Yeah, made for an 80's or later. I actually did go an look at them -- and depsite his denials -- they do have a part number on them, Hooker 6907. Clearance issues because they are too wide or too long top to bottom? I actually took a template of the bolt holes and I think they would bolt up, but...

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
They will bolt up to the heads, but they probably won't clear the motor mounts or other parts. If it fit the EBs Hooker would list it under the part number.

Very good! You know how we all are -- always looking for a great deal. He is down to $60 bucks for these! But, alas, I will pass!

Re: Hooker or Hedman Hedders
I'll try to find a part number on my headers, don't know the brand, but they are long tube and I have no clearance problems.
