Just mounted a set of Fierce Attitude MT's on Friday. Horrible Lateral stability! Feels like I am running 2psi in them. It is just downright dangerous!! Driving in the wind over the weekend was a white knuckle experience! Especially passing semis and I was nearly empty. I wouldn't even consider pulling a trailer right now. But with Moab just a hair over a week away, I have some quick decisions I need to make. I am also going to take them into a Goodyear dealer and have them inspect them. I don't know that I have a unique situation or not, but I have to do something else. Here's the suggestions my tire shop recommended. The edolrado's are the only direct swap. The others will cost me some extra $$ (at their cost of course). J.D. |

Hate to hear about your bad experience with such a critical item. Of the ones you have posted, I would go with either of the Discoverer as I have run lots of them with good success. I think you were asking for advice / input ? |

Dan, thanks! I got another recommendation for Hankook Dynapro ATM's. Heard good things about them, but I prefer the tread pattern of the Maxx's still. These tires are scary unloaded, I would hate to think what they would feel like with a load! These Fierce tires may be better suited for off-road and lighter rigs. Too soft for tow-rigs. I think the Duratrac is very similar in every way! |

Took it to a Goodyear Service Center. They said the tires are ok, but they feel the compound is just too soft for a heavy vehicle. This makes the tread and sidewall flex too much. GY corp said they'd put the purchase price towards a set of different GY tires. I said I bought these 6 months ago to get ahead of the price increases, so now I have to buy tires at today's prices? That's the best they'll do. My tire shop will do one better, so I'm waiting on a quote for the Hankook Dynapro ATM's and I'll decide between them and the Disc. ST Maxx. |

My brother in law ran the hankooks on his duramax. Was a good tire. We run them on some of our work trucks and they do great in the snow and ice. No issues so far. I'm really looking at those for my truck when its time this summer. |
