Adding timing makes it run leaner. If your running rich not much an ignition system can do. Your running the bowelled correct? |

Isn't base timing at 6? The way I learned was 1 degree for every 1000 feet in elevation, so depending on where you are in Colorado, you could be anywhere from 10 up. Here in the Springs, I always ran at 12 and never had a problem. |
