So I googled this topic and it seems t be a fifty fifty thing. I have trailer tires now but they are a little dry rotted. Please any input |

Trailer tires are heavier duty and rated for a bigger load. Keep trailer with trailer tires. You don't want to pop tires and hurt someone. |

Agreed, trailer tires for trailers. They are designed totally different. Give Jayhawk trailers a call. I got a good deal there last time. Craigslist also has some at times. When were were looking to replace the trailer tires on the "tread lightly" trailer there was a guy selling brand new tires for a good price. |

I've never hauled much, but on the way back from Ouray, Shane's (borrowed) trailer tire had a huge split in it. We stopped & replaced all the tires with trailer tires. The owner had used all cheap car tires on it. Seeing that split was enough to convince me. |
